What this tool does
Paste JSON on the left and the formatted result appears on the right as you type. Use Format for readable output, Minify to strip whitespace for transport, or Sort keys to order every object alphabetically, which makes two payloads easy to compare.
Finding errors
When the JSON is invalid the tool shows the line and column of the first problem and the text around it. The usual causes are a trailing comma, single quotes instead of double quotes, an unquoted key, or a missing bracket.
Privacy
Parsing and formatting use your browser's built-in JSON.parse. Nothing is sent to a server, so it is safe to paste API responses and config files.
